TMSA is going to celebrate its 50th anniversary completing the second greater work of its history
In the year in which it celebrates 50 years in business, TMSA – Tecnologia em Movimentação is performing deliveries of the second greater project of the company’s history for Corporación Navios (CNSA), in Uruguay. The work, performed within less than 18 months and with a global amount higher than US$ 64 million, it is part of CNSA port terminal, strengthening its logistic competence in Uruguay.
The project includes innovating equipment, such as a customized ship loader to operate in both sides of the pier, both with minerals (iron and manganese) and grains and its derivatives, in barge discharge system by grabs and combined machine for pile and mineral recovery.
With 50 years in business, TMSA has more than 1 thousand finished projects in more than 20 countries. In Brazil, it has great works in almost all states, highlighting in the port terminals of Rio Grande (RS), São Francisco do Sul (SC), Paranaguá (PR), Santos and Guarujá (SP), Vitória (ES), Pecém (CE), São Luiz (MA) and Barcarena (PA).
“Now we are also delivering two projects in Barcarena (PA), in the Brazilian north corridor, which include ship loaders, grain moving systems for river and road receiving, storage and transfer. In one of the cases, we highlight the bridge with more than 1,300 and, on the case, the modernization and conversion of the former loader port terminal of Caolin (ore used to manufacture paper, ceramic and ink), built by TMSA in the 1990’s, in grain reception and embark terminal. In both projects, floating reception systems barges with high capacity were installed, which operate with capacity of up to 2 thousand tons per hour”, explain Paulo Lambert, TMSA Director of Sales.
