Belt conveyors

Advanced and certified solutions for the ISO 9001 standard for transporting and processing several types of bulk solid.

TMSA belt conveyors have varying capacities and dimensions according to specific use. Operation with several types of bulk such as ores, aggregates (gravel, sand, etc.), large vegetation, wood chips, and biomass. In addition, it could be used in various modals such as truck loading, carriages, barges, stacking in ore yards, splinter, etc.

HIGHLIGHTS

Drive

  • Constituted by motor and reductor of helical gearing. Based on the carbon steel welded/machined profile to ensure greater rigidity to the joint assembly, increasing the service life of coupling. The electric motor supplied with protection level adequate for the environment where the equipment will be installed. Drive and return axes are manufactured in carbon steel or alloy in order to ensure better resistance and durability. When necessary, it has a backflow in the axis of reductor high area and optionally may be provided with brake in the motor.

Pulleys

  • Drive pulleys are manufactured in carbon steel welded and coated with diamond-type grooves to ensure better friction between the pulley and belt. The return and deflection drive pulleys are also manufactured in carbon steel welded and coated according to need. Attachment between the axis and pulley through retaining rings that ensure ease of disassembly in case of maintenance.

Bearings

  • Bearings with self-compensating rollers are provided to ensure better resistance in heavy duty as well as better durability and less maintenance.

Load and return rollers

  • Made of stamped and welded carbon steel with shaft sealing by dual retainers for total assurance of dust sealing. Are manufactured in several sizes to meet the various conveyor configurations. Roller bearings are of world-class in order to ensure better durability and less maintenance frequency.

Intermediate

  • Is the transporter body and is constituted by spars which support the accessories assembled in the transporter such as roller support, trippers, and continuous feeding gutters. Spars are at angled L or C laminated or folded bracket when supporting only roller holders in Z or latticed format when support trippers.

Take-up

  • Component that ensure uniform belt take-up and strength maintenance necessary to avoid that the belt slips in the drive pulley. There are several types: by using screws when the belt has less than 20 meters of length, for counterweight when the belt has over 20 meters of length and needs a higher take-up course. The anti-weight take-up may be mounted in the rear of the equipment or in the return branch according to the installation site where the equipment to be assembled.

Scrapers/wipers

  • Components installed to promote cleanliness and removal of material that is added to the belt. The scrapers are classified in primary and secondary, and the primary are mounted at the height of the drive pulley and the secondary are assembled on other belt areas, when necessary. The cleaners are mounted transversely and serve to clean the internal face of the corridor, next to the return and stretching drive pulley.

Outlet chute

  • Outlet chute functions to drive the product which comes with the same belt speed to the back pipe. It has wear plates of high resistance to friction. Has easy-opening inspection windows for visualization and internal maintenance.

Tripper

  • Intermediate exit and functions to drive the product out of the belt and distribute the product inside the silos. It may be fixed or mobile, moving through a certain segment of the equipment which promote the product unloading. When it is mobile, it has driving that allows its dislocation automatically through the equipment.

Feed chute

  • Device used to distribute the product uniformly in the belt, thus ensuring better transportation frequency and avoiding the product goes out the belt. It has wear plates of high resistance to friction to ensure the maximum durability during operation.

Continuous chute (enclosure)

  • Assembled through the transporter, when the product has several feeding sites and is used in silo unloading tunnels. Are used in replacement of feeding shoes and is sealed in the transporter in order to avoid the product goes out the transporter.

Protection/safety sensors

  • Used to detect failures during or operating the equipment such as belt misalignment, bearing wear, bushing, axis rotation, etc. They detect failures by approximation, induction and heat. Moreover, there are course end of stretching, tripper translation, tear detector and overload in the belt.
